Princeton in Asia
Award information
Princeton in Asia fosters mutual appreciation and cross-cultural understanding between the United States and Asia through immersive work fellowships in host organizations and communities. PiA believes in the power of person-to-person diplomacy. We strive to shape a world where individuals share a mutual appreciation and respect for our planet’s diversity of cultures and perspectives.
Eligibility
- Students who apply to the PiA should hold a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree, some programs require additional work experience, PhD students are not eligible.
- Applicants are generally college seniors or recent graduates
- This program does not limit students based on national origin; however, all students are required to submit a proposal on how this program will contribute to the mission of United States-Asia exchange
- Placements are contingent on Visa laws in host countries
- Applicants must have a passport valid throughout the entirety of the program
- Fluency in English is required, fluency in host country language is not required, but preferred
