Erik Holmgren

Erik Holmgren serves as the Program Manager for Creative Youth Development and Education at the Massachusetts Cultural Council where he oversees funding for in-school and out of school time programs along with the agency’s groundbreaking work in social prescription. Prior to his work at the Council, Dr. Holmgren was a concert saxophonist, performing with a diverse group of organizations from the United States Military Academy Band at West Point to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.  他曾在弗罗斯特堡州立大学(Frostburg State University)和哥伦比亚大学(Columbia University)任教,还在其他六所院校担任客座讲师。  His writing has been published in 交响曲》杂志, 低音的世界, 萨克斯管研讨会, WorldBlu杂志, the 音乐表演新濠影汇线上赌场研究杂志 and most recently, 青少年发展与音乐学习, a new book published by Routledge.
