Gerald and Deanne Gitner Family College of Arts & Sciences Lecture: Advancing the human condition: An agenda for research & education
The first annual Gitner Lecture on September 18, 2014, is a discussion focused on what we need to learn, what we [...]need to know, and what we need to do to prepare for the next generation. Six CAS professors with diverse perspectives ranging from cyber security to carbon cycles are joined by respondents Anthony Janetos, Director of the Pardee Center for the Study for the Longer-Range Future; Adil Najam, Dean of the Pardee School of Global Studies; and Virginia Sapiro, Dean of CAS. Watch, learn, and think about our future as panelists discuss how their current fields of study can be leveraged to advance the human condition through discovery, teaching, and learning.
This lecture was made possible by a gift from Gerald (CAS ’66) and Deanne Gitner.
