CFA Alumni Nominated for Grammy Awards

Boston University College of Fine Arts is pleased to announce a School of Music alum nominated for two Grammy Awards this season:

Georgia Jarman, CFA ‘97
● Sings Cathy in Wuthering Heights produced by Blanton Alspaugh, nominated for Producer of the Year, Classical
● Sings Roxana in Król Roger, nominated for Best Opera Recording

In addition, the College of Fine Arts would like to congratulate Boston University alums who were also nominated for Grammy Awards this season, including:

Jeff Lipton, Questrom, ‘93
● Mastering engineer on Ork Records: New York, New York, nominated for Best Historical Album

Maria Rice, CAS ‘04
● Mastering engineer on Ork Records: New York, New York, nominated for Best Historical Album

The 59th annual celebration of the recording industry’s most prestigious award, presented by The Recording Academy, will be broadcast live from the Staples Center on CBS on Sunday, February 12th at 8pm.
