Professor Brown received a B.S. in Biochemistry from the 南加州大学 in 2003 and her Ph.D. in 化学与生物化学 from the 加州大学圣克鲁斯分校 in 2009, studying under Joseph Konopelski教授. 她于2009年7月加入波士顿大学，担任Scott E. Schaus教授的博士后新濠影汇线上赌场研究助理，并于2012年1月晋升为CMLD-BU的新濠影汇线上赌场研究科学家。

Lauren于2020年夏季晋升为化学新濠影汇线上赌场研究副教授，同时担任CMD的副主任。 She leads efforts in the Center’s library synthesis activities, works on several ongoing medicinal chemistry projects, and coordinates all collaborative activities within the Chemical Library Consortium.
