COM学生获得新闻协会最高奖项

Colbi Edmonds (COM’23) was named the region’s “Top College Journalist” and Bella Ramirez (COM’25, CAS’25) was named “College Rising Star” by the 新英格兰报业协会 during its recent annual conference.

An investigation of abuse in BU’s orientation office, leading to the resignation of the office director, by Edmonds and Cameron Morsberger (COM’22) received a first-place award for in-depth reporting. 法官们称这项工作是“可靠的调查报道，让有权有势的人承担责任”。

波士顿大学’s independent student newspaper, the 每日自由新闻, was named New England College 新闻paper of the Year, with judges taking note of the newspaper’s “sense of urgency and timeliness in the choice of stories and their placement.”

Shannon Damiano (COM’22) and Mohan Ge (COM’22) of the 每日自由新闻 received a first place award for photo series on election night parties for Boston’s mayoral race. 评委们写道：“这部电视剧很好地捕捉了候选人及其支持者在这场历史性选举结束时的高潮和低谷。”
