Myles Standish Hall – Construction Activity – Week of 5/1/16
For the week of May 1, 2016:
Work taking place this week will not make any noise so as not to disturb the students during finals week. Work will begin at 7 a.m. and deliveries to the site will start at 8 a.m. Deliveries will be limited due to finals. All deliveries will enter the site through the Bay State Road entrance and will use one elevator to get stock to basement.
Electricians will continue with investigation and working through the plans laying out cores for new electric room and basement underground. HVAC work has started and the team will continue marking all existing piping with spray paint throughout the basement. Plumbers will not be onsite next week, they will be back the week of 5/8/16 to start installing temp water loop in basement .
