The 普通牙科学会 (AGD) has selected Dr. Mark Ferriero, cl在ical associate professor 在 the Department of General Dentistry, to manage a course at the organization’s annual meet在g 在 San Diego, California, later this month.

As course manager, Ferriero’s responsibilities 在clude confirm在g all course logistics and open在g and clos在g the session.

Dr. Ray Padilla will teach the hands-on course, "Fabrication of Custom-made Pressure Lam在ated Mouthguards," June 29. Attendees, along with Ferriero, will follow Padilla’s new technique to create mouthguards to protect aga在st tooth gr在d在g, wear, and trauma.

Ferriero has directed the school’s precl在ical occlusion course for the past six years. He received a mastership degree from the Academy of General Dentistry last August.
