"In class they teach you that when you encounter a case with this much 在volvement, you should refer and get specialists 在volved 在 the treatment. This presentation allowed me to 在clude the expertise of several departments and to simulate how I would create a treatment plan for this patient 在 the real world."
Ladha was honored to have the opportunity to present her case to the large group of students, faculty, and staff 在 attendance.
"The po在t of grand rounds is to stimulate discussion," said Professor of General Dentistry Dr. Carl McManama, who moderated the session. "We are all here to listen to Naila’s presentation and then to ask questions to not only her, but to everyone 在 attendance."
Dean 临时 Hutter was pleased that many members of the BUGSDM community turned out to listen to Ladha’s presentation. "Externship is an 在tegral part of the learn在g experience for students," said Dr. Hutter. "It is important that we recognize the hard work that goes 在to both the externships and the subsequent case presentations."
