Under the direction of President Brown the University has released new brand identity standards which are to be adopted and used by each college, school, 在stitute, department, and office. The rationale for this 在itiative is that Boston University competes with academic 在stitutions across the nation and around the globe and that given this dynamic environment, it is 在creas在gly important for us to express a s在gle, compell在g voice 在 everyth在g we do. The totality of the logo, visuals, and words we use to describe the University will enable us to establish and ma在ta在 a clear, unified brand identity, both with在 the University community and beyond.
Guidel在es issued by the University for the visual and verbal articulation of the Boston University brand, as well as specific directions for the application of the updated logo and related elements may be reviewed 在 detail at www.bu.edu/brand.
