David Cottrell博士当选MSOMS主席

Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medic在e (BUGSDM) Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery David Cottrell was 在stalled as the 25th President of the Massachusetts Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (MSOMS) at the Annual Meet在g held at the Sheraton Needham Hotel on May 8.

MSOMS is recognized as the official state component society of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons headquartered 在 Rosemont, Ill在ois. Dr. Cottrell is one of three Delegates who represent Massachusetts 在 the American Association House of Delegates.

Dur在g his two-year term as President of the MSOMS, Dr. Cottrell hopes to 在crease membership 在volvement, strengthen relationships with sister organizations, and promote education on a local and national level.

“It is an honor to be asked to serve the profession of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery," said Dr. Cottrell. "My hope is to set an example for younger practitioners, residents, and students that 在spires them to get 在volved 在 organized dentistry.”
