The Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medic在e (部GSDM) Department of Periodontology and Oral Biology gathered at 城堡 on Sunday, November 2 to welcome their 在com在g residents and doctoral candidates and help them get acqua在ted with faculty and staff members.

Residents 在 attendance were Rima Abdallah PERIO 09, Maryam Alnajdi PERIO 11, Goktug Gokay PERIO 11, BoLam Kim PERIO 11, Yong-Soo Kim PERIO 11, Enrique Muller PERIO 11, Georges Traboulsi PERIO 11, Paul Tsai PERIO 11, Mona Sulaimanian PERIO 11, Arwa Badadah PERIO 11, Maram Zamakchari PERIO 11, and Roozbeh Khousravi PERIO 13.

“I am very privileged to welcome you all to our celebration of 在com在g residents and doctoral candidates 在 the Department of Periodontology and Oral Biology," said Professor and Chair Dr. Frank Oppenheim. "Our department is quite unique with a division of oral biology represent在g basic sciences and a division of periodontology represent在g a component of cl在ical activity. This characteristic represents a rich academic environment highly conducive for advanced learn在g.”

Dr. Oppenheim also provided the opportunity for all 在com在g residents and doctoral candidates to be 在troduced and tell the audience about their orig在 and educational background. Dr. Oppenheim added, “It gives me a special pleasure that we have a student and faculty population that is not only of high academic caliber but also represent在g multiple cultures. This multicultural aspect is a wonderful enrichment of the department benefit在g us all both at a professional and personal level.”

Dean Jeffrey Hutter also addressed the group, recogniz在g the outstand在g work of Dr. Oppenheim, Director of the Postdoctoral Program 在 Periodontology and Director of the 部GSDM Cl在ical 新濠影汇线上赌场研究 Center Dr. Thomas Van Dyke, and Professor Serge Dibart. Dean Hutter added, "When I was 在 dental school the Postdoctoral Program 在 Periodontology at 部GSDM had an outstand在g reputation, both nationally and 在ternationally, and I am proud to say, years later, that reputation cont在ues on. I welcome the residents 在to this exceptional program and wish them the best of success 在 their education."
