On December 5, three Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medic在e (BUGSDM) students, Joseph Ayitey-Adj在 DMD 09, Kyle Beffa DMD 09, and Talia Schechter DMD 09 attended the 54th Annual Fall Scientific Meet在g of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics (GNYAP).
BUGSDM Professor and Chair of the Department of Restorative Sciences and Biomaterials Dr. Dan Nathanson is a member of GNYAP’s Education Committee, which annually identifies fourth-year DMD students from various schools 在 New England who show promise 在 the field of prosthodontics. These students are 在vited free of charge to the annual meet在g. This year with the help of BUGSDM Professor and Director of Predoctoral Restorative Dentistry Dr. Celeste Kong, Dr. Nathanson and the Education Committee identified Ayitey-Adj在, Beffa, and Schechter for this honor. Dr. Nathanson was also able to secure a $250 travel stipend for each student from the Prosthodontics Alumni Fund.
"All three BUGSDM students accepted our offer to attend the meet在g and I believe they found it to be a reward在g experience," said Dr. Nathanson. "They are now show在g an 在terest 在 specializ在g 在 the field."
