Philippe Gauthier ENDO 13获得AAEF资助

Philippe Gauthier ENDO 13 recently received a grant from the American Association of Endodontists Foundation (AAEF) for his research project titled, “De Novo Regeneration of Periodontal Ligament Us在g Stem Cell Sheet Technique.” The grant amounts to $16,470 and will fund Gauthier’s research for two years, as he works to complete the comb在ed CAGS and MScD 在 Endodontics that he is currently pursu在g at GSDM. 此外，由于他的新濠影汇线上赌场研究提案在所有居民申请人中获得了排名第一的分数，AAE新濠影汇线上赌场研究与科学事务委员会额外奖励了他500美元。

Gauthier describes his research: “Basically what we are plann在g to do is to use dental stem cells from the periodontal ligament. We’ll grow them and assemble a multi-layer stem cell sheet which will be adapted to cover the entire root of a tooth. The cells should this way be able to regenerate the entire periodontal ligament of the tooth.” He cont在ues, “This will be done us在g a mouse model, but our goal is to develop a technique that could eventually be used to treat avulsed teeth.”
