AAWD和CHP回到罗茜家

2012年8月14日星期二，波士顿大学亨利·m·戈德曼牙科医学院社区卫生项目分部（CHP）和美国女牙医协会（AAWD）的BU分会回到了罗西的地方，参加了儿童工程项目。

罗茜之家是位于波士顿南端的贫穷和无家可归妇女的避难所。 GSDM与罗茜之家有着长期的志愿者关系。 Childworks is a volunteer-run program that aims to provide activities, learn在g opportunities and recreation for the children of Rosie’s Place.

在这一天，15名儿童（连同他们的母亲）参加了“牙齿健康护照”活动。 Under the direction of Oral Health Promotion Director Kathy Lituri, GSDM volunteers set up six stations for children and their caregivers to visit and earn their “passport” to dental health. Each station features 在teractive and age appropriate activities for the children that accompany their mothers/caregivers to Rosie’s Place. 6个工位分别是：(1)刷牙/剔牙/剔牙； (2)直接说不！ （吸烟和其他有害习惯）； (3)护牙剂（密封剂、护齿器、氟化物、木糖醇）； (4)所以你想成为一名牙医？ (5)牙齿的重要性； (6)健康食品，健康牙齿。 这里还有一个儿童工艺品桌。

男女学生都被鼓励去做志愿者。 The event is a chance to learn about some of the issues faced by women and children that seek the services of Rosie’s Place, 在teract with them, and share expertise.
