The search committee invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean, Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Leading candidates will have distinguished records of accomplishment in dental research, education, and administrative experience. Candidates must also demonstrate an appreciation of the values and objectives of a dental school dedicated to excellence in teaching, clinical service, research and community engagement. Nominees and applicants must hold a D.D.S./D.M.D. (or equivalent degree in a health related field) and have demonstrated scholarly distinction appropriate for a senior level appointment. Competitive applicants should also possess a strong record in scholarly activity and mentoring, as evidenced by serving on editorial boards, current or prior grant support, publications in the peer reviewed literature and the success of previous trainees. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
