DMD 84 Celebrates 25-Year Reunion

The Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) DMD Class of 1984 held its 25-year reunion June 26 to 28 in Chatham, Massachusetts. Alumni Board member Tina Valades DMD 84 and former Class President Neal Fleisher DMD 84 organized the event, which featured a Friday night dinner and cocktail reception at Dr. Valades’s house in East Harwich, the reunion at the Chatham Wayside Inn on Saturday night, and breakfast and a continuing education course on Sunday. Robert Miller DMD 84; who traveled from Boca Raton, Florida to attend the event; presented the continuing education course titled, "Almost as Good as a Tooth."
"Everyone enjoyed getting together and for many of us it was the first time we had seen each other since the ten-year reunion," said Dr. Valades. "I was impressed and proud of all that my classmates have accomplished and it was so nice to be able to share that with Dean and Mrs. Hutter, who joined us at the Chatham Wayside Inn."
"This was the second reunion our class has held," said Dr. Fleisher. "Both were a resounding success. Some of us had not seen each other for over 20 years, and in some ways we picked up right where we left off." Dr. Fleisher continued, "This class always had a special bond, with virtually everyone getting along."
Approximately half of the graduating class of 47 students attended the reunion and many alums brought along their spouses and children. Bryan Miller DMD 84 was recognized for having traveled the furthest distance to attend the event, coming from Engelwood, Colorado.
