Orthodontic Alumni Gather at NESO 2009 Annual Meeting

Dean Jeffrey Hutter along with alumni, faculty members, and students of the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics gathered together at a reception hosted by Anthony A. Gianelly Chair in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics and Director of the Postdoctoral Program in Orthodontics Dr. Leslie Will during the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Northeast Society of Orthodontists (NESO). The reception was held on Friday, November 13 and the NESO Annual Meeting took place November 12 to 15 in New York City, New York.

Approximately 50 people attended the reception held in Dr. Will’s suite. Dr. Will is the Immediate Past-President of NESO. Her term as President began in September 2008 and ended at the Annual Meeting. Dr. Lee Erickson from Dalhousie University Faculty of Dentistry succeeds Dr. Will as President.

“It was wonderful to see so many Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine alumni at the reception held during the NESO Annual Meeting,” said Dr. Will. “This was the first event that I’ve hosted since accepting the role of Anthony A. Gianelly Chair in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics and Director of the Postdoctoral Program in Orthodontics and the warm reception on the part of the alumni was extremely gratifying. I look forward to getting to know all of the orthodontic alumni at future events like this.”

"It was a pleasure for me to attend the reception," said Dean Hutter. "Dr. Will demonstrated excellent leadership skills and dedication to the field of Orthodontics through her work as President of NESO and I know that all of as at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine are extremely proud of her."
