GSDM Welcomes Korean Dental Students

Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine hosted three fourth-year DMD students from Wonkwang University for a visit on June 15 to 17. The students, under the guidance of Clinical Instructor in General Dentistry Dr. Seok Young Kim, spent several days observing work in the predoctoral treatment centers.

The students were quick to mention how nice and welcoming everyone at the School had been during their visit. They were also excited to note the similarities and differences between the clinical learning experience gained at GSDM versus their own dental school.

The students presented Dean Jeffrey W. Hutter with gifts of thanks, including beautiful decorative fans, at a special meeting held in the Dean’s Office.
