Dr. Dara Cunnion Receives Board Certification

Congratulations to Dara Cunnion DMD 99 PEDO 01, assistant professor of general and pediatric dentistry, who recently became a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
She completed the two-part exam process, which includes a qualifying examination and a clinical section. The exam "validates the knowledge, application, and performance requisite to the delivery of proficient care in pediatric dentistry," according to the Board’s website.
Cunnion is director of Predoctoral Pediatric Dentistry and is an advisor to first- and second-year DMD students. She is a BUSDM dental school liaison to the American Dental Education Association’s Commission on Change and Innovation and a member of both the Center for Research to Evaluate and Eliminate Dental Disparities and the Pediatric Oral Health Quality of Life research team.
She is president elect of the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and has served on various Massachusetts Dental Society committees.
