Come to Wheelock College June 19-22, 2013 for the Conference that will help you boost your impact on the lives of children, youth, and families worldwide.

Wheelock’s Global Challenges and Opportunities Facing Children, Youth and Families international conference offers you:

  • 25 Expert Panels on human rights, health, and education
  • Spotlights on innovation and solutions in action
  • Special topic sessions
  • Keynote speakers who are changing the world, including Cherie Blair, Ögmundur Jónasson, Emiliana Vegas, Deogratias Niyizonkiza and Kevin Carroll

There are many individuals and organizations throughout the world doing tremendous work to improve life for youth and families. These initiatives can be difficult, thankless, and dangerous in some places, so it is important to recognize the heroic nature of these human rights efforts and learn from them.

The breadth of these efforts is extraordinary. There are local, national, and international organizations focused on issues such as clean water, hunger, human trafficking, access to education, wrongful imprisonment, women’s rights, and religious oppression. Each is a critical issue worthy of our attention and resources. Each presents challenges that are distinct and complex. Yet often there are similarities in the best approaches and strategies to overcoming human rights challenges. And therein lies an opportunity.

Imagine if more people knew the best practices for improving the lives of children and families. Imagine if advocates, health experts, policy makers, and political leaders from around the world could come together to converse, collaborate, and become catalysts for more significant change. Now stop imagining, and begin planning to join us.

Join us for the Conference that advances the conversation.
