Sixth Annual Summer Weekly Seminar Series

The BU Security Group, sponsored by the Hariri Institute for Computing and Center for Reliable Information Systems & Cyber Security (RISCS) is launching a series of seminars every Friday on the practical elements of security. Last year’s talks included topics such as video game multiplayer cheats, bluetooth abuse, server data leakage, information bombs, bitcoin attacks and other areas of cryptography.

RISCS, hosted under the Hariri Institute for Computing, draws on the expertise of 22 faculty and over 100 graduate students from the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering, Questrom School of Business, and Metropolitan College, and provides opportunities for faculty and students from diverse fields to collaborate on interdisciplinary research problems, create new knowledge, and develop innovative multidisciplinary curricula.

RSVPs for each event are appreciated but not necessary. For more information, please contact Prof. Ari Trachtenberg at trachten@bu.edu.
