Institute Announces 2015-2016 Call for Research Proposals
In pursuit of its mission to catalyze collaborative, interdisciplinary research, the Hariri Institute for Computing is pleased to announce its Research Award program for the 2015-2016 academic year.
Objectives
To catalyze new directions and new collaborations in interdisciplinary research applying computational and data-driven approaches, with special attention given to proposals focused on data science.
Eligibility and Funding
All BU faculty members with tenure/tenure-track appointments pursuing research that applies data-driven and/or computational approaches are eligible to submit proposals for up to $50K of support.
Proposal Process
A brief proposal must be submitted online. Please refer to the research award program guidelines for important details regarding type of support, selection criteria, and proposal requirements and deadlines.
Deadlines
For the Spring 2016 funding cycle, proposals are due Monday November 29, 2015. The proposal deadline for Summer or Fall 2016 funding is Friday, March 11, 2016.
