Prof. Siegel Hosts Conversation on the JNU Row with Tanika Sarkar at Harvard, 4/4
Assistant Professor Benjamin Siegel will host a public conversation on April 4, 2016, with Tanika Sarkar, professor emeritus at the Centre for Historical Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, and one of the preeminent historians of modern India. This wide-ranging conversation on intellectual freedom, protest and dissent, and the intersections of politics and law in the wake of the events at JNU is sponsored by Harvard’s South Asia Across Disciplines Workshop and the Center for South Asian and Indian Ocean Studies at Tufts University.
