Alexandra Martinez graduated in 2020 with a BA from the University of Arizona, majoring in History and Anthropology. She entered the Master’s Graduate Program at BU in 2023 with Professor Silber as her advisor. Her interests are in gender in the United States during the late 19th and early 20th century. Her undergrad research was focused on the perceptions of masculinity within World War I and its correlation with American sports.
