BU-ISE and UN Economic Commission for Europe Sign MOU and Plan Pathways Work Together

The UN Economic Commission for Europe, one of the UN’s four regional subsidiaries, has signed an MOU with the ISE intended to lead to research, education, and technical assistance to the 56 countries served by the Commission. The specific areas of collaboration are under discussion but are likely to include electric sector transformation, policies and mechanisms to change national economies onto low-carbon pathways, and possibly methane reduction policies and initiatives.
