IOC Summer Fellow To Work On Sustainable Energy Systems in Melbourne, Australia

The Initiative on Cities is thrilled to be sending Boston University’ Timothy Ogino to Melbourne, Australia, to serve as an IOC Summer Felllow. Ogino is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the Boston University School of Engineering (class of 2016). In Melbourne, he will be working with the City’s Sustainability Branch and their partners at Citipower to build a roadmap for Melbourne’s future electricity supply.

Ogino will be in Melbourne from June through early August. This fall, he will participate in a roundtable discussion with other 2015 IOC Summer Fellows to discuss their experience working in municipal government.
