Students of Color Welcome Celebration (09.27.18)

DESCRIPTION

The Minority Connection Initiative’s mission is to promote the visibility and collaboration between students and organizations at Boston University who identify as racial minorities. Through our mission we seek to enhance the relationship between underrepresented minority undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and staff. We hope to foster a mutually beneficial environment and community in which students, faculty and staff look to each other for support. We also seek to promote and share information on the resources available to students across departments at BU.

This fall, we plan to host our first ever Students of Color Welcome Celebration, an event that seeks to establish personal connections over good food and performances. The Students of Color Welcome Celebration serves the purpose of providing all Boston University students with the opportunity to learn more about us, the Minority Connection Initiative, the African American Studies, African Studies Center, the Center for Latin American Studies, and College of Arts and Sciences First Year Experience Program.

Join us as we mix and mingle while learning about student organizations, events, academic programs, and resources!

This event is open to all BU undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and staff.
