Professor Julie Klinger’s Article Published in the Journal of Chinese Political Science
We’re happy to inform you that Julie Klinger’s article “Rescaling China-Brazil Investment Relations in the Strategic Minerals Sector” has been published in the Journal of Chinese Political Science. A Spanish-language version “Minerales Estratégicos: Cambios de Escala de las Relations entire China y Brasil” has been published in the September-October issue of Nueva Sociedad.
As part of her commitment to foster international research collaboration, Klinger seeks to make her work available in multiple languages. In this case, she was pleased to collaborate with Dr. Catherine Levy of the Freie Universität Berlin and Dr. Enrique Dussel Peters of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, who coordinated the transmission of research articles focused on key factors in China-Latin America Relations to these separate venues. Her articles are published as part of an international collection of original research pieces authored by scholars from the Americas, Europe, Australia and East Asia.
This initiative was launched at the International Conference “China in Latin America: Who are the Actors?” held at Freie Universität Berlin in October 2014, organized in cooperation among the Institute of Chinese Studies at Freie Universität Berlin, Peking University, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the Confucius Institute, the Institute for Latin American Studies, and the Center for International Cooperation of Freie Universität Berlin.
