“Chacal: Forbidden to Write Poetry” is a Finalist for the Best Short Documentary of theChicago International Arthouse Film Festival

Professor Rodrigo Lopes De Barros’ film “Chacal: Forbidden to Write Poetry” is one of the finalists for the Best Short Documentary of the 12th Chicago International Arthouse Film Festival. This year’s ceremony will take place on December 20 at the Gene Siskel Film Center, which is part of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Jury Chairs for this year’s prizes include Professors: H.D. Motyl (Southern Illinois University), Hisham Bizri (Brown University), and Ruth Margraff (School of the Art Institute of Chicago).
