Michael A. Gollin (’84), one of the founders of the 公益计划（皮普） at 波士顿大学法学院, passed away on November 20 after five years of living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

More than thirty years later, 皮普 is one of the leading 法律学生团体 at 波士顿大学, fostering a commitment to nonprofit, government, and 公益性服务 work, and promoting community service to all interested BU Law students and alumni. 该组织于2014年向Gollin颁发了皮普创新者奖。

Gollin documented his thoughts and values through poetry and prose in his blog, InnovationLifeLove, with small notes about his life and what he discovered on his journey with ALS.

Gollin’s memorial will be held at the Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church in Adelphi, Maryland on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. The family welcomes memorial donations to the Michael A. Gollin公共利益和知识产权基金, the 南方贫困法律中心, and 国际特赦组织.
