This summer, Lewis Osterman and Kristen Rogerson (both ’17) are working under the supervision of Professor 凯文Outterson as facilitators for 箴se victims of these contaminated injections, helping people who are representing themselves in claiming a share of the compensation funds in several states.

Outterson, who co-directs BU Law’s highly ranked 卫生法课程 and serves as the editor-in-chief of the 法律、医学与伦理学杂志, is a recognized expert on the case. He has published two articles on the subject in the 新英格兰医学杂志 and has been widely quoted in the media on the NECC disaster. “学生们在我的监督下工作，”他说，“但他们直接与那些因注射真菌而受伤的索赔人打交道。 我为他们所做的重要工作感到非常自豪。”
