国际学生

BULA很荣幸能接待来自世界各地的学生。 事实上，我们平均有25%的学生持有F1签证。

虽然国际学生可以获得与美国国内学生相同的资源，但国际学生应该熟悉一些额外的挑战和流程，以便为BULA的经历做好充分的准备。

实习

与其他一些海外留学网站不同，洛杉矶的实习被视为一种职业机会，而非学术机会。 正因为如此，在洛杉矶实习的竞争非常激烈，学生们必须申请很多职位，才能在这些公司的一小部分得到面试机会。

对于工作经验有限的学生来说，寻找实习机会的过程可能会面临额外的挑战。 Students should take advantage of our 应用程序资源 and check-in with BULA staff with any concerns about resumes, cover letters, and the kind of internships available. It’s important to remain open-minded and realistic about your internship search process.

在秋季和春季学期来洛杉矶的国际学生每周最多只能实习20个小时。 BULA暑期项目学生的实习时间不受限制。

课程实践训练（cpt）

All international students must apply for CPT 后 receiving an internship offer and 之前 starting to work. Read through the CPT申请流程 carefully and check-in with ISSO or BULA staff if you have any questions.

社会保障

Students with 支付 internships must have a Social Security Number (SSN) in order to work. If you have had any previous 支付 employment  in the United States (including on-campus) then you should already have a SSN. 如果你还没有SSN，那么你需要在你接受实习并申请CPT之后申请一个。 This process can take several weeks, so you’ll want to get started on it as quickly as possible.
