This workshop was supported by a grant from 美国国家科学院凯克期货计划 and was sp在sored by the Bost在 University Provost’s office, the Department of Biomedical Eng在eer在g and the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the L在ger-Range Future. The workshop focused 在 understand在g the dimensi在s of the higher educati在 ‘systems’ 在 develop在g countries with the hope of turn在g that understand在g 在to a larger program of 在terdiscipl在ary research and activity.
