Dr. Miquel Munoz speaks at Brown University
Dr. Miquel Munoz, post-doc fellow at the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer Range Future, gave a guest lecture at Brown University’s Watson Institute for International Studies on 11 November. The lecture, addressed to graduate students, focussed on Global Environmental Governance (GEG) and the GEG reform debate.
Dr. Munoz focussed some of the challenges for effective GEG, including proliferation and fragmentation of the system; cooperation, coordination and coherence; efficiency in the use of resources and resource availability; performance and effectiveness of the system; and non-state actors. Dr. Munoz presented recent and ongoing work at the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer Range Future on all these areas.
