Pardee Post-Doctoral Fellow Writes Article for Argentinean Newspaper

Pardee Center Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Suranjana Nabar-Bhaduri was a guest author for the Argentinean newspaper  Página/12.  Her her article was published on September 12 is titled India’s Growth Model: A Need for Change. She argues that India’s current emphasis on the service sector as the focus of economic growth efforts at the expense of agriculture and manufacturing is detrimental to the country’s long-term development prospects.

The piece is related to a paper she co-authored for the Department of Economics Working Paper Series at the University of Utah and was published in the September issue of the economics journal Challenge.
