Environmental Governance Task Force Set to Meet at Pardee House

EnvironmentalGovIconThe Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future is hosting a meeting of the Pardee Center Task Force on Environmental Governance in and for the 21st Century on Oct. 11 and 12.

Pardee Faculty Fellows Anne Short (Earth and Environment) and Henrik Selin (International Relations) are convening the 12-member group in collaboration with Prof. James McCarthy of the Clark University Graduate School of Geography.

The Task Force was created to bring together scholars of environmental governance from different disciplines who look at governance issues at various scales ranging from local and informal community governance programs to formal, international institutional arrangements. The group will work together to review current knowledge, develop a new research agenda, and produce a report that provides insights for consideration by policymakers and other scholars and decisionmakers.
