Prof. Adil Najam Speaks to NPR on Afghanistan Strategy
Prof. Adil Najam, Professor of International Relations and Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future spoke to National Public Radio’s (NPR’s) news show All Things Considered on the new U.S. strategy for Afghanistan announced by U.S. President Obama.
In the interview, which focused on how this new military strategy is likely to impact Pakistan and how the Pakistanis are likely to respond, Prof. Najam explained why many Pakistanis are as apprehensive as they are and argued that there is a need for a joint US-Pakistan-Afghanistan strategy which adopts a regional approach.
