Dr. Muñoz at Ministerial Energy on Energy and the Green Industry

Pardee Center Fellow Dr. Miquel Muñoz participated in the Ministerial Energy on Energy and the Green Industry, held in Vienna, Austria, on 21–22 June. The meeting, held in parallel to the UNIDO-organized Vienna Energy Forum, brought together ministers and high-level officials from over 70 countries and aimed to provide input to the Rio+20 agenda.

At the meeting, Dr. Muñoz discussed his ongoing work on the green industry. Participants also discussed a proposed set of targets, known as the 30-30-30 targets, to reach universal energy access by 2030, 40% energy efficiency by 2040, and 30% renewables by 2030.
