Gallagher Named Interim Dean of the Pardee School

On July 1, 2022, Professor Adil Najam, will step down after eight years as the Inaugural Dean of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, and Professor Kevin Gallagher will assume the temporary charge of Dean Ad Interim until a new Dean is appointed, which is expected to be by September 2022.

Najam to Step Down as Pardee School Dean at End of Academic Year

Dean Najam will leave his leadership role at the conclusion of the 2021-2022 academic year, or as soon as a successor is identified. Following a sabbatical, he plans to return to the faculty of the Pardee School and to his scholarship in international development, climate change, and global public policy.
