对于家长和学生来说，秋季学期是一个充满兴奋、反思和变化的时刻。 In this issue of 家长, we give you a small glimpse into life on campus, sharing stories from students about 建立社区 at Hillel House, finding friends with an extracurricular 新濠影汇赌场行动组, and fulfilling childhood dreams by 伦敦报道 during the 2012 Summer Olympics. 今年秋天对波士顿大学来说是一个特别多事的秋天。 We kicked off the academic year by opening our brand-new, $50 million 学生服务中心. Later in September, we held a dazzling Celebration of 部 event at Agganis Arena to launch a 历史性的第一次资本竞选 for this great University. We also honored the 通识学院 as it celebrated its 60th anniversary. 我特别喜欢CGS，因为我的儿子Bob和侄女Margaux都是在CGS院长Linda Wells和她优秀的新濠影汇赌场的出色指导下开始他们的大学生活的。
