亲爱的家长,

希望您的学生在春季学期过得愉快。 那是一场激动人心的比赛！

我们最近在校园接待了很多特别的客人，我们想和你们分享一些亮点。 Actress 吉娜戴维斯 (CFA’79, Hon.’99) was on campus to receive the Bette Davis Foundation’s Lifetime Achievement Award for her extensive film career and her work with the Institute on Gender in Media. As part of the University’s Arts Initiative, Tony Award-winning vocalist 迪迪布里奇沃特 visited the Tsai Center for a free concert and performed “Cotton Tail” for 部 jazz fans. Senator 伊丽莎白·沃伦 joined over 100 students to discuss important issues in higher education, such as student debt and declining research funds from the National Institutes of Health. More recently, 约书亚·杜波依斯 (CAS’03), former special assistant to President Obama and executive director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, returned to 部 to discuss faith, poverty, and politics in the United States.

With another successful 毕业典礼 behind us, our campus remains vibrant as 夏季学期 classes begin and we prepare for 取向 and, of course, the upcoming fall semester. We are looking forward to many new beginnings as we welcome the 2018届毕业生, such as the opening of the 帕迪全球新濠影汇线上赌场研究学院 as well as hosting more of our first MOOCs (massive open online courses).
