Funding Opportunity: Massachusetts Life Sciences Center 2021-22 Cycle Capital Programs

OBJECTIVES:

MLSC is accepting applications for this year’s capital programs: Bits to Bytes, Novel Therapeutics Delivery, Women’s Health, and Research Infrastructure. The deadline to apply for the 2021-2022 program year is November 19, 2021 at 1 p.m.

  • Bits to Bytes: grants for scientific projects that generate and analyze large datasets to answer pressing life science questions, and to attract and train data scientists in the Commonwealth.
  • Novel Therapeutics Delivery: capitalize and incentivize translational projects to address complex challenges in “therapeutic” delivery—from biomanufacturing, to targeted delivery, to biomaterials and more.
  • Women’s Health: supports collaborative projects that aim to improve the discovery, technical innovation, and/or analysis of datasets to answer pressing life science questions around women’s health.
  • Research Infrastructure: grants for capital projects that support the life sciences ecosystem in Massachusetts by enabling and supporting life sciences research and development.

FUNDING INFORMATION: Approximately $750,000. Up to $5,000,000 for the Research Infrastructure program

Eligibility criteria vary by funding track within MLSC. Please refer to the specific links above for detailed eligibility criteria for the funding of interest.

As this opportunity is not limited, the Office of Research will not be conducting an internal review process.
