Boris Corredor, lecturer in Spanish, organized a panel at the 2020 Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA) conference on the subject of alternative approaches to traditional grammar instruction in foreign language learning.
Among the participants was our alumna Isabel Castro, who gave a talk on “Engaging Millennials and GenZers with New England’s Spanish-speaking Communities and Organizations.” Corredor himself contributed a talk titled “A Reflection upon the Role of Grammar Instruction in Literate Societies.”
