Kleiman Wins Advising Award
Associate Professor of Romance Studies Irit Kleiman has won a 2020 Templeton Award for Excellence in Student Advising.
One of Prof. Kleiman’s advisees wrote of her, “A year ago, there was uncertainty in my mind as to whether or not I would graduate from BU, but Professor K’s determination to make it happen is one of the reasons why I know I will be able to receive my degree … Professor Kleiman always made sure to check on me as a person first, see how I was doing, and then move forward. And she always made sure we were moving forward.”
