The 53rd Annual Northeast Modern Language Association Convention will take place March 10-13, 2022 in Baltimore, MD. We are delighted to announce that our keynote speaker will be Professor Judith Butler, and that Valeria Luiselli, author of the prize-winning Lost Children Archive, will give our opening address!

The conference will be sponsored and hosted by Johns Hopkins University in collaboration with NeMLA’s administrative host institution, the University at Buffalo.
