The French, Hispanic and Italian Studies Department at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC, Canada) would like to extend a warm invitation to your graduate students to submit abstracts for papers and presentations to the Ninth Biennial Graduate Student Conference “In-between Normalities: Care, Persistence and the (Re)Imagination of Life“.
The conference will take place from 29-30 October 2021. Considering the current state of the world and difficulties with travel, this year’s conference will be held in a hybrid format, enabling both in-person participation at the University of British Columbia and virtual participation.
This year we are proud to have as our keynote speaker the distinguished Dr. Susan Antebi of the University of Toronto.
