Lesley University – Latin Am. History Course

I am writing to you from Lesley University and was hoping you could help me. I am looking for an instructor to teach Latin American History in the fall. The instructor who was going to teach it has just informed me that she cannot do it, so I am trying to connect with as many people as possible. The course meets once a week, and it is taught in English. These are the details:

The Humanities Division of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences of Lesley University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach an upper-division course in History during the Fall 2021 semester:

Course Title: CHIST-3350 Latin America Since 1900.

Course Description: This course examines key persons and events in Latin America since 1900. It is designed to give students an introduction to contemporary Latin America from a historical perspective. Of special interest will be questions of historical memory and social mobilization, ethnic and racial conflicts of nationhood, and regional and political diversity.

Course Time and Date: Thursdays, 1:15-3:45pm, 8 September – 22 December 2021.

I would be grateful if you could share the position with your contacts.

All good wishes,

Sonia
