Gerardo Cruz Publishes Book Chapter
Gerardo Cruz, doctoral student in Spanish, has a chapter in the forthcoming book by Spanish publisher Visor Libros, Performatividades contemporáneas. Teatro, cine y nuevos medios. Gerardo’s chapter is entitled “Estética de la performatividad en el cine autoficcional de Alejandro Jodorowsky.” In it, he explore the elements of performance art, theatre, literature, and plastic arts that the Chilean “polyartist” uses to conform an intermedia discourse to create the myth of himself: the myth of the artist Jodoworsky.
