Clinger Speaks at NeMLA Roundtable
Braden Clinger, a doctoral student in our Hispanic Language & Literatures program, participated in a roundtable at the 2022 NeMLA conference. Braden tells us:
“I was honored to participate in a round table conversation at NeMLA about the confluence of genre and location. In the two back-to-back roundtables organized on this theme, I was able to talk about the precedents and implications of geography and horror in the 2019 Brazilian film Bacurau, and engage with other scholars working with similar themes in anglophone and Italian texts.”
